As one of the descendants of Song agnate, Zhao Yifu has been the different officials in many places. He did a lot of good cases as his achievements in his life. In the Song dynasty, some were not only the governors but also the writers.So did Zhao Yifu. He was an excellent governor while he produced many works. However, we attached more importance in his achievements in the politics, while putting not enough attention on his contribution in literature, so that we can't greatly appreciate his works. Undoubtedly, it was rare for him to mark himself in this aspect. Therefore, it's necessary to put him in the position of a writer for our study in order to fully make his contributions with the affirmation.The paper bases on researching his background to make discussions in three aspects from his theory and contents about the literature, in order to make out his skills.
