Description Of Desire: Analyzing The Theme Of Lu Yao's Works

For a long time, Lu Yao's works have been read by large number of young people, that comfort their weak and confused mind. His works really deserve the fame of "the greatest inspirational book ever since the new period". However it is questionable if these young men have ever been burned by the flaming sensations or tasted the estacy to reach the center of power hidden beneath the inciting agitation. Constantly bearing the weightiness on my mind when I intensively read the work and its related reviews, I concur the incisive analogy once Jia Ping wa exerted on Lu Yao as "The Sun runner Kua Fu, falling on the thirsty earth of the cause. " It is more than the simple "depth of love to this land" , but enclosed desires of various kinds that are pumping the mind and body of Lu Yao as fuel to scud. Lu Yao's friend Gao Jian qun used to say, Lu Yao's biggest weakness is having to much desire. Like Foucault said, power not only refers to single people , but will on others, and will diffuse in the society. The desire for power is also associated with the resistance. I believe Lu Yao has been grown from an energetic young man to a famous plodder with the desire on his back. My thesis will discuses the theme from three aspects: the reason of expansion of the desire, the way of it's expression and how did Lu Yao build a fort to guard himself.Lu Yao always was in the fringe of life, no matter in family, or work group. Every time he got some achievements, but soon will fell down hardly. That's why he catched any chance to go to the power centre at all costs. In his writing career, he determined to hit the ground running with pens. Most of his works have two major clues: Love and Politics, and we can feel his anxiousness by close readings. Lu Yao forced himself locking in a small room while writing novels, in that way he imagined to be the dominator in his own world. But with big contrast back to the real life, he felt very lonely. So Lu Yao kept building his fort of power during the short life time, including the methods of writing, self- classic and imagination of huge reader groups.Until now, Lu Yao still has contemporary relevance, there are many aspects of his desire and anxiety. Just like the suspension points he like to use in his works, Lu Yao's life is also a long story.
