The Study On Time Category Expressions In The Strategies Of The Warring States

Time category is thought to be a semantic category in this article.Based on the exhaustive investigation and counts to time category expressions in the strategies of the warring states,this article divides the time category expressions into three patterns: words,structures and minor sentences from the form angle,time amount expressions, time point expressions and time duration expressions from the meaning angle,and discusses these time ingredients' syntactic function,ultimately,analyse the time adverbs' tense meaning and aspect meaning in this book,attempts to reveal the time category expressions in this book more comprehensively and systemically.This article is divided into six chapters:The first chapter is introductions,give a brief introduce about the Chinese time expressions' present research situation,this article's main research contents,methods and purpose.The second chapter is the form patterns of the time expressions in the strategies of the warring states,divides the time expressions into three form patterns:words,structures and minor sentences,eath of them have their inferior patterns.The third chapter is the meaning patterns of the time expressions in the strategies of the warring states,main to analyse the strategies of the warring states how to express the three inferior semantic categories:time amount,time point and time duration.The fourth chapter is the time ingredients' syntactic function in the strategies of the warring states,discusses the time ingredients' distribution in the sentences.The fifth chapter is the time adverbs' tense meaning and aspect meaning in the strategies of the warring states,make use of the theory about tense and aspect in modern Chinese to analyse the adverbs' meaning in this book.The last.chapter is conclusion.
