The Comparative Study On "duo+V" And "V+duo"

There are two options of word order if "DUO" compounds with a verb "V",that is "DUO+V" and "v+DUO".Firstly,we study and compare the verb and "DUO" between both,and then make a comparative study on both from the plane of syntax,semantics and pragmatics.All kinds of verb can be used in "DUO+V",but the main verb is action verb.The quantity of the verb in "V+DUO" is less,most of them are action verb too.all the verbs in the "V+DUO" can be used in "DUO+V" as well.The "DUO" in "DUO+V" has rich meaning,can be used as adjective and adverb.The"DUO"in "V+DUO" can be only used as adjective.The combination cover of "DUO+V" expands wider than "V+DUO",which can combine with quantitive construction at random.And they share 4 quadrijugous sentence structures: "DUO+V+一点/一些"and "V+DUO+一点/一些","DUO+V+了"and "V+DUO+了", "DUO+V+了+一点/一些"and "V+DUO+了"+一点/一些","DUO+V+了+N"and "V+DUO+了+N"."DUO+V" can be used in clausal predicate sentence,double objects sentence and Jianyu structure."V+DUO"can be used in clausal predicate sentence and verb-copying sentence.The semantic meaning of "duo+V"and"V+duo" is different because of semantic orientation's difference."duo+V"and"V+duo"with the same sentence structures have the same basic semantic meaning or some differences."DUO+V"and"V+DUO"have some difference in frequency of use,subjectivity,pragmati c effect and pragmatic focus.Last,choosing between "DUO+V"and"V+DUO"should meet t he need of luaguage coherence.We can use cognition theory to explain the differences b etween "DUO+V"and"V+DUO".
