Shen Jiong is the important writer during the Liang and Chen Dynasty,who is one of the few writers concerning the then society reality.He has experienced the society turbulence between Liang Dynasty and Chen Dynasty,suffering from the pain of losing his wife and children and the bitterness of national subjugation.And has sighed with emotion quite much. His works,varied from the then-popular rhapsody,expresses his deep thoughts with a style of solemn and stirring,reflecting the reality of a calamitous society.Shen Jiong's literary talent is spoken highly of in the official history.Chen Dynasty History says Shen Jiong is"encouraged a form by diction,boost purport,great person of believing a man of letters".The Southern Dynasties history praises him:"brilliant thought,is enough to succeed heel former good people".He mausoleum shares the honor with the important writer Xu Ling of Chen, Zhang Pu said:"The literary style of Jiangnan,enters Chen to gradually decline,except Xu Ling,Shenshizhong,no other writer of this period."But historical materials about Shen Jiong are extremely deficient,and his works have been few handed down,and the academic study about him is still mush insufficient at present.So this thesis is to conduct an analysis from a microcosmic perspective of Shen Jiong,his magnum opus,Guihun Fu,and its influence on the later generation,aiming at drawing up the true features of his works and presenting an objective evaluation.The thesis contains the main body and the appendix,and the main body is subdivided into three chapters:The first chapter discusses Shen Jiong's thought and analyses his hermit's mind-set.By research into the society background and his family history,the thesis analyses his ideological origin.Most of his life was spent in Liang Dynasty,which was a time that Confucianism, Taoism and Buddhism coexist.His family,the Wuxing Shens,is a big culture family in the Southern Dynasties,There is a tradition of advocating Confucianism from the ancient times, and they also worship the practitioners' Taoism culture,moreover,many of the family members are Buddhists.Due to the social trend and family influence,Shen accepts the all three methodologies.By the analysis to Shen Jiong'slife story and their work,and the summary of his thought characteristics,that is concentrate on Confucian learning,while not neglecting Buddhism and Taoism.The second chapter discusses the artistic achievement of Guihun Fu,which is Shen Jiong's most influential work and an autobiography tax,telling the author's rough experiences and the deep thoughts of his hometown.This chapter summarizes Liang Dynasty and Chen Dynasty literary circles background as well as the then representative taxes,the parallel tax, which attaches importance to the beauty in form,but the lyricism is somehow neglected.The subject is confined to the palace court mostly,seldom having the genuine feeling expressed; then analyzes the emotion world in Guihun Fu.Because Shen's experiences are roughly complex,in its tax he expresses various emotions:both the encounter of chaos caused by war's sorrowful sentiment and the drifts about away from the homeland,as well as the happiness of turn home in dreams.The complex emotions surge up,moving.At last,after a comparison with the Ai Jiangnan Fu,sums up his artistic achievements.Guihun Fu is not as good as the Ai Jiangnan Fu in the aspects of truthfully reflecting the reality or the literal skills, but Gui Hunfu reflects the social reality of turbulence and the complex inner world of an intellect.The third chapter discusses the influence of Shen Jiong poetic prose.The most praised is Shen Jiong's article,but his poem has also produced certain effect to creation of the Tang Dynasty men of letters.Liu Xiyi's Dai Bei Bai Tou Wen is similar with Shen Jiong's Chang'an Shao Nian Xing in structure and language.Li Bai's Yue Xia Du Zhuo is similar with Shen's Du Zhuo Yao in emotion,that is the dissatisfaction and anger,and the longing for freedom and libration,and the sigh of no way to change the reality.Du Fu's Shou Ma Xing is similar with Shen's Fu De Mian Ma You Gui Xin,and Yong Lao Ma in the theme and content structure.Wu Mei Cun's Za Ju Tong Tian Tai is influenced by Shen's work.Shen Jiong's Poem Checking and Annotating is the preparations for the thesis and is put after the main body as the appendix.
