From the viewpoint of positive psychology,this study investigated several samples,with priming experiment,through exploratory factor analysis,confirmatory factor analysis,analysis of variance,correlation analysis,regression analysis and so on,to explore GQ-6's applicability,trait gratitude's individual differences,gratitude and prosocial behavior's relationship among middle school students.The study results are as follows:Study 1 shows that six items' discrimination indexs are significant,the exploratory factor analysis and the confirmatory factor analysis support the two factors structure of GQ-6.Criterion validity reveals that GQ-6 is significantly and positively related to the friendship satisfation,family satisfation,study satisfation,school satisfation,environment satisfation, but not with the freedom satisfacion or negative feelings.Study 2 shows that boys' and girls' trait gratitude are not significantly related to the profundity dimension,but the level of girls'trait gratitude is higher than boys' for the frequency dimension.The Socio-Economic Status and grades have significant interaction for the profundity dimension,the high socio-economic status' the Grade Seven's gratitude is higher than the low socio-economic status' the Grade Seven's.Compared with Grade Eight,Grade Nine,Grade Ten,Grade Eleven,Grade Seven's trait gratitude is significantly low.The Socio-Economic Status and grades have no significant interaction for the frequency dimension,and the Socio-Economic Status main effect is significant.Correlation analysis shows the profundity dimension,the frequency dimension,openness,conscientiousness,agreeableness, extraversion are positively and significantly related,neuroticsm and the frequency dimension are significantly and negatively related.Regression analysis shows openness,agreeableness,extraversion have significant and positive function to predict the profundity dimension,extraversion, conscientiousness have positive and significant function to predict the frequency dimension,neuroticism has significant and negative function to predict the frequency dimension.Study 3 shows that the profundity dimension and prosocial behavior are significantly and positively related,and the profundity dimension has significant funtion to predict the prosocial behavior.State gratitude priming team and the no-priming team is significantly different,the amount of priming team's endowment is much more than the non-priming team's.
