Research On Contemporary Design Of Electronic Books

As we know, book has been a greatly important carrier to transmit and spread the culture and thoughts of human being from of old and in addition its change of each time has a close relationship with the developments of writing ways and materials. For highly-developed information technology, electronic books emerge as the times require, which asks for our some of designing on dynamic and interactive multimedia instead of static presswork. As a bran-new type of medium, it not only has the traditional books' characteristics and functions, but also can cast off the restrictions of materials.About it, this article focuses on how to make better designs of electronic book. Indeed, electronic books' design means the development of traditional books' design in many respects. Nevertheless, it also has its own characteristics after combination with the traditional books' designing. Through comparing and analyzing the modality and characteristics between traditional books and electronic ones, we hope to know more about electronic books in the hope of guiding us to balance the relationship between the designing idea and the designing task. Simultaneously, we'd like to bring the designing idea of serving, humanity and scene into our works, which also is the essential quality asking for each designer. About the designing electronic books, we can do nothing but go forward in the research. On one hand, we need to develop the designing idea which has been accumulated for thousands of years on designing traditional books and even graft these inconstant-developing ideas into our electronic books' designs. On the other hand, we should exert all the advantages of electronic book by proper designing and only in this way can we have better designing works in accord with various requirements.
