This article discusses mainly about China' s image and video news against the background of digital dissemination age. Ethical issues of the image and video news come to arise from photography production and the development of digital communication technologies which used in the areas of news dissemination, and thus it has become increasingly concerned. When the video media such as network television, compact discs, laser discs, videos, electronic games has become part life of millions of households, more people achieve through symbolic image to accept the news and information, perceived external environment, which shows that our country has entered the era of images. In a number of news dissemination activities images have showed their distinct features from the traditional print news media. However, when photography is applied practically to the news dissemination activities, it has inevitably encountered ethical issues. The researches show that there are historical succession and logic relevance between the ethical issues of mage and video news and the traditional print news.
