Countermeasure Research On The Lack Of Ethics Problem In The News Report

Our country’s news media is the "mouthpiece" of the party and the state, thepromoter of the party and the government policies, the facilitator of social publicopinion direction and the main position and main channel of ideology. However, inthe process of breaking the old social order and building the new ethics system, Newsmedia is responsible for guiding public opinion, correcting people’s behavior andcultivating the social core values.News ethics phenomenon occurs in the news reports, such as false information,violence and vulgar information, and payment information, owing to the developmentof market economy. These phenomena make the scientific nature, objectivity andimpartiality of the news reports threatened. Moreover, the decline of credibility of thenews media makes serious harm to the interests of the party and people, and destroysthe social conduct. In this background, the news media must start from their own first,realize their inherent deficiencies and shortcomings caused by external causes, takemeasures to correct ethics phenomenon, and reuse their own information and theadvantage of the platform of public opinion to eradicate the social anomie radically, inorder to establish a new social ethical order conforming to the China’s nationalconditions and times request. Therefore, the research on ethics problem in the newshas both theoretical and practical significance. Journalism ethics problem has veryimportant practical significance. Firstly of all, it helps build and perfect laws andregulations of the news; Secondly, it helping strengthening the Journalists’professional ethics construction; Thirdly, it also help driving supervision of socialmedia by pubic opinions, optimizing the social environment of news report, and thenpromoting the socialist journalism in orderly development.In this paper, we use the method of literature review and case analysis to putforward the deficiency problem of news ethics. From the connotation of ethics, newsethics and the social function, this paper expounds the social responsibility and thebasic principle of the press and makes comprehensive analysis the reasons of the lackof media ethics through the surface of the news ethics phenomenon. In the view ofethics, it discusses the countermeasures to solve the problem of lack of media ethics inorder to realize the goal of providing a solid theoretical basis, value idea and practicemethod to the news media ethics construction.
