The Study On Quality Of Jiangyong Nüshu Characters

N(u|¨)shu is the only sex characters in the world,it is a miracle in human philology history.First,N(u|¨)shu existence as a character,as a written symbol,and then relate to culture,history,ethnic groups,women and other fields.So from the philology point of view,N(u|¨)shu has an important research value.An important feature of N(u|¨)shu is that it's creation draws on Chinese characters,but only borrowed the pronunciation of Chinese characters,did not follow the way of ideographic.To understand N(u|¨)shu correctly we must analys the nature and the role of N(u|¨)shu scientificly.In order to clarify the nature of N(u|¨)shu,I statisticsed and analysised the N(u|¨)shu characters comprehensively,and studied the relationship between characters and syllables.I studied systematically on "N(u|¨)shu Dictionary" and "N(u|¨)han Dictionary" in the main body of the thesis.According to "N(u|¨)shu Dictionary",I statisticsed the table of dialect syllable structure,and then listed systematically 3435 N(u|¨)shu chatacters in" N(u|¨)han Dictionary".I classified them from the angle of variant and polyphonic characters,and made the table of variant and polyphonic characters,then statisticsed the number of polyphonic characters specificly.So made the Conclusion that N(u|¨)shu is a Syllabic chatacters.Through research,I believe that N(u|¨)shu is only a Syllabic chatacters which used to record verse created by literati,there are non-standard phenomenon such as variant and polyphonic characters existence in N(u|¨)shu.The special phenomenon of N(u|¨)shu tells us that Chinese can also be recorded by syllable chatacters.The view that Chinese can only be recorded by Chinese characters is one-sided.Therefore,in a sense, the creative process of N(u|¨)shu is a explore and attempt again to if Chinese characters can phonetic.Practice has proved that such attempt is successful.
