The Experimental Study Of Tone In Liling Dazhang Dialect

This dissertation tries to study the tonal aspect of Liling Dazhang dialect with the theories and method of experimental phonetics. And analyze the current situation, reasons, development of compatibility in Dazhang tones by the results of field-work. It consists of such six chapters.Chapter 1, the introduction part, briefly reviews the previous and current studies on tones of Liling and Dazhang dialect, and introduces the study's aims and method.Chapter 2 to chapter 5 constitute the main body of fundamental frequency analysis. Based on the experiment, chapter 2 studies the degree of curve, camber and their distributing situation. Find that: Yinping has tall-flat camber and tall-angle camber two types, and tall-angle camber has short-long and long-short types.Chapter 3's analysis find that: Yangping has two types: whole rising tone and rising tone with concavity.Chapter 4 finds that Shangsheng is depressed camber; its discount is not huge in south rural; and it is easily influenced by the surrounding areas' dialects.Chapter 5 talks about the consistency and stability of Qusheng in Liling interior dialects.Chapter 6 talks about the conclusion which is based on F0 normalization, and the development of tone in Dazhang which is analyzed by the results of field-work...
