An Artistic Research Traversing "Temporality" And "Faramita"

Xuxu figured a number of female characters in his novels. These female characters have different outside profile and inside features respectively, and their emergence and existence enriches the galleries of China's modern literary characters. But now, the studies on the female characters of Xuxu's novel just concentrate on hackling the character of his single writing, and it is very difficult to see the scene and flow of the whole female characters presenting in Xuxu's novels. This dissertation tries to study the reasons why Xuxu chose to indite female character, the types of female characters and the features of tasting beauty, and to sum up his viewpoint of female and the idea root of its formation, so as to make up the blank of study on the female characters of Xuxu's novels.The dissertation studies the female characters of Xuxu's novels from four parts. Chapter one firstly analyzes the reason why Xuxu chose to indite female character. Because of the surge of epoch factors and the mixes of religion ideas, Xuxu mostly focused his attention on females, and looked on females equally. In his novels, a majority of female being perfect in his mind experiences a series of hard search and digestions of religion, and then finds the mix bourn that forever exceeds realism in the western and China's religion. Moreover, Xuxu had deep apperception of taste aesthetics aimed to discover life noumenon value, which ultimately led him to figure a number of female characters that have myth ideal form and incarnates the particularity of Anima archetype.Chapter two analyzes the types of female characters in Xuxu's novels. The part sets forth particularly the types from several aspects. The first type of females are the females that are like ghost as well as supernatural. They flyblow the features of ghost and supernatural that are dazzling, and represent the ideal female in Xuxu's mind. The second type of females are the ordinary females represent temporal world, and they go in for the satisfaction of substance. For them, Xuxu had two different attitudes. He admired and respected these females that were in the degraded environment and not degraded. But since he lived in Hongkong longer, he saw a lot of females who sold out themselves for a little benefits, and he felt very harrowing for them, which was reflected in his later novels. From these female , we can see Xuxu's ideal world brokenChapter 3 probes into the features of tasting beauty of the female characters in Xuxu's novel, namely the feature of participation equally, symbolization and relying on religion.Chapter 4 sums up the conclusion from the above studies, namely Xuxu's female viewpoint and its idea root. Xuxu's female viewpoint represents complexly. He canonized transcendent females and didn't agree with material females. But he didn't be against the females pursuing material. In his early dreamt female characters, he figured them Anima archetype. Later, along with of common customs of characters, his idea was broken. The complex idea of his pursuing the females of temporality as well as Faramita rooted from the conflict of the mixes of soul and body and the distance of tasting beauty.
