The Research Of New Materials And Product Design

With the development of science and technology,new materials have been constantly developed and applied,that has great role in promoting product modeling design,but also put forward higher requirements for product modeling design.This paper summarized the general characteristics of modern new materials firstly,deeply analyses the function features,sensibility features and aesthetics features of new materials from the perspective of industrial design.Through the research of tactile texture,visual texture and aesthetics features,the paper focused on varied sensibility features of new materials,a large number of examples are quoted to proved that if only attach importance to the sensibility features of new materials,can we design products full of normal human feelings.Finally,the paper summarized general principles of the use of new materials and the main factors which impacted new materials selection,pointed out that in order to create the product of high superior value and spiritual value,we must combine function features and sensibility features of new materials to use function and emotional function of industrial product, putting economic,environmental protection,innovation as design philosophy.
