A Comparative Study On "Jinyi Structure" Of "V Jian(见)" And "V Dao(到)"

The study of predicate-complement structures has a very important position in the study of modern Chinese grammar."Ⅴjian(见)" and "Ⅴdao(到) " are the earlier ones of them.Both of them has a clearer developmental path,which can be seen as ones of the most typical categories.Parts of "Ⅴjian" and "Ⅴdao" have the same or similar functions in the semantics.They are mainly:(A)Visual perception verbs:wang(望),kan(看),qiao(瞧),consisting of "Ⅴjian" and "Ⅴdao".(B)Psychological perception and olfactory perception verbs verbs:meng(梦),xiang(想),consisting of "Ⅴjian" and "Ⅴdao".(C)Auditory perception verbs:ting(听),wen(闻),consisting of "Ⅴjian" and "Ⅴdao".(D)Physical action verbs:peng(碰),zhuang(撞),which implied the meaning of " Tactile ",consisting of "Ⅴjian" and "Ⅴdao".(E)The other non-perception verbs,consisting of "Ⅴjian" and "Ⅴdao".These has the same structure and the similar meaning.So we call them " jinyi structure ".From the overall analysis to the studies of cases,we make use of the method of comparison,to find their similarities and differences in the distribution,syntax, semantic functions,the history of the evolution,the mechanism of grammaticalize and so on.The first chapter:"Introduction",introduce the studies on this topic which has been done before,the meaning of our study,the research objectives,and the sources of corpus.The second chapter:from the distribution,structure,and the development process, analyze the similarities and differences of the whole "Ⅴjian" and "Ⅴdao".The third chapter:to divide accroding to the meaning,then selecte the representative groups from "Ⅴjian" and "Ⅴdao",summarize and analyze the subtle differences between "Vjian"and"Vdao".The fourth chapter:grammaticalize "Ⅴjian" and " dao ',explore the similarities and differences caused by the mechanisms of grammaticalize and driving forces "Ⅴjian" and "Ⅴdao ".The fifth chapter:" Conclusion ",the summary of this paper and the remaining issues,and further research projects.
