The study of Epitaph word has always been a great importance to scholars either to be ignored or even part of. The author take Han, Wei and the Northern and Southern Dynasties period as the study of the epitaphs, and more systematic study of the Han, Wei and the Northern and Southern Dynasties Epitaph terms of the funeral. Epitaph material is based on Mr. Zhao Wanli's "Epitaph compilation of the Han, Wei and the Northern and Southern Dynasties", in which there are many special terms of the funeral. The author collect and sort these words, separate the categories and give the power of investigation and explanation.
