This article based on the creation content and form portrayal of Chinese contemporary distinguished realism sculptor Mr.WANG Zhaowen's work,analyzed from aspects of pioneering,emblematicalness and originality,projecting the times' characteristics of WANG Zhaowen's sculptures,and further expatiating WANG Zhaowen sculptures' outstanding achievement in sculpture area.The time characteristics of WANG Zhaowen sculptures could not be compared with other sculptures. Since the Communist Party ascended the history stage,namely,the beginning of new period,as a creator of epoch figure,the pioneering of WANG Zhaowen's sculptures could not be ignored.In the battle years,WANG Zhaowen used his special weapon,monumental sculpture to sacrifice particular power for the Chinese revolution and national prosperity.This theme is the main rhythm of that time, as well as the main rhythm of WANG Zhaowen's sculpture creation.At present,this main rhythm still influences the modern sculpture field deeply.Symbolism and realism combined application is another distinguishing characteristic of WANG Zhaowen's sculpture.Mr.WANG Zhaowen is the pioneer in this sector both in China and in the world.This article consists of five parties,and the second section is the main part,which is the spirit of WANG Zhaowen sculpture-zeitgeist and cultural heritage.This chapter combined background in that period,analyzing WANG Zhaowen's works one by one,and emphasizing the argument of this article.The writer wishes to provide some necessary references to those scholars,who engage in research of WANG Zhaowen sculpture practice,and contribute little strength to the research of Mr.WANG Zhaowen's lifetime achievement.
