| With a variety of geographical issues to social life and economic development in the deepening impact, the research about all aspects of geography become more and more emphasis, and geography as an important basis for the status of subjects has been the Government and the community. Map as the geography of a second language, and we hold this thinking to be self-evident, that there is an important and far-reaching significance about map proficiency and the level of map use to the geography courses teaching. Not only that, but today is the time that the new curriculum reform has been implemented, and "the process and methods of" target has been stressed; the thinking is more significant meaning.From the view that how high-quality, high efficiency learning maps, papers described a series of theoretical research which combined with educational psychology learning strategies. First of all, the writer sorted out various theories and concepts by reading through the literature on learning strategies, and did an in-depth study about the learning strategies usage which related to improve ability about obtaining map knowledge. And based the research results, the author got the concept of map elaborational strategy, the characteristics and division ways. Secondly, the papers through referencing the data and information about various types of investigations and studies showed us the investigation questionnaire of the research subject which was designed by the grading scale theory. Then the researcher randomly selected two classes of senior grade two which came from high schools in Changchun City to carry on the questionnaire survey, and analyzed the data by using spss statistical software.The study found that high school students map elaborational strategy the existing level of less than ideal. According to statistical data and analysis by spss software, as a result, there is a liner positive correlation between map elaborational strategy level and the students'geographical study, and the strategy level has become an important factor which affects the students'geographical study in academic geography. In the factors which impacted the map elaborational strategy of students, the geography learning interesting of students and the map elaborational strategy learning guidance by teachers are positive correlations between them and the level of map elaborational. The vast majority of the strategies of students come from their teachers, and they dose not scarcely acquire the strategies by themselves. Based on the conclusions of the study, the writer gives some advice for teachers and students to raise the level of map elaborational strategy of students. |
