Analysis Of The Efficatious Story Of Kwan-Yin Bodhisattva During Weijin And Southern Northern Dynasties Period

Buddhism is one of the three bigger religions in the world. It rooted and germinated, connecting with the development of the land since buddhsim came to China. Buddhism is characterized with philosophy of religion theory full of obscurities and fairy tale which can be understood easily. Kwan-Yin Bodhisattva surpassed the world and satisfied the need of society during the dynasty of Wei-Jin-South-North period, which made an impression on people, known for each family, including of women an children.There are three parts in the first chapter. How did the early religious belief of Kwan-Yin Bodhisattva develop in China would be introduced in Preface. Based on the prosperity of Buddhism, the preface gave a brief introduction about the religious belief of Kwan-Yin Bodhisattva and long and complex expanding process during the dynasty of Wei-Jin-South-North period . Firstly, the meaning of the efficatious story of Kwan-Yin Bodhisattva is fixed from the word of "efficatious" .The origin and circumstances of efficatious story of Kwan-Yin Bodhisattva are determined intially through studying lots of books of the dynasty of Wei-Jin-South-North period. Based on the social circumstance, the chapter also inspects the backgroud where many efficatious story of Kwan-Yin Bodhisattva generated and expanded.The second chapter discesses the efficatious story of Kwan-Yin Bodhisattva from the four aspects. The story of seven difficulties an two requests can be devided into six types, covering every aspects of people. The image of Kwan-Yin Bodhisattva is based on many efficatious story of Kwan-Yin Bodhisattva, so analyzation of the reason why Kwan-Yin Bodhisattva go to the wind is very important. The last part introduces the way of communicating with jinin for people is to believe the Kwan-Yin Bodhisattva with all heart, then can get help.The third chapter talks about the efficatious story of Kwan-Yin Bodhisattva in that time, and dicusses the value of Kwan-Yin Bodhisattva deeply from the point view of religion, history, and literature especially the angle of novel, with the purpose of doing research on the value of efficatious story of Kwan-Yin Bodhisattva again.The last chapter is conclusion, making a summary of this paper.This part analyzes and assesses the influence and status of the efficatious story of Kwan-Yin Bodhisattva.
