Researches on folk characters in Long Kan are popular,whereas systemic studies on standardized form of Chinese characters in this book are quite few. Based on this,the writer chooses two entry points in this paper,one is to present analyses about certain terminology material exhaustively and induce principles;so as to draw precise connotation and extension about that term after comparing with explanation indictionary of Tang and Song Dynasty.The other is to explore Xing Jun's outlook on standardized form of Chinese characters through studying the content in Long Kan,in order to provide a reference for standardization of Chinese characters.Guided by the theory of Chinese characters' formation,this paper refers to Professor Zang Kehe's academic explanation of the factors related with the times and differentiation about standard script,and it adopts researching ways of quantification study and qualitative analysis,citation of materials and exhaustive presentation,comparison and description.This paper consists of four chapters and appendixes.Chapter one,introduction part,briefly introduces previous study on the book of Long Kan,exsisting researching room,writing purpose as well as meaning of this paper:Chapter two,regulated characters in Long Kan,cites various viewpoints and draws a basic definition of standardized form of Chinese characters;then explores the comparison of standardized form of Chinese characters in Long Kan,Shuo Wen Jie Zi and Yu Pian;finally finds out the foundation and principle of regulated characters in Long Kan from a vertical perspective,aims to prove the motivation and explicability of Chinese character's formation.Chapter three,comparison in the term of formation between standardized form of Chinese character and folk character,is laterally contrastive analysis from three aspects:whole character,components and strokes.Through concise and integrated depiction of characters'formation,this part points out the features and law of Chinese characters' evolution.. Chapter four,Xing Jun's outlook on regulated character in Long Kan.mainly illustrates the causes and influence of this outlook,and concludes its progress and limitation.
