The Theoretical Review Of Researches On The Music Of Xuzhou Story-telling Opera

Xuzhou story-telling opera is one of the three major story-telling operas in China(Beijing story-telling opera, Shandong story-telling opera and Xuzhou story-telling opera). It has beautiful tune and rich melody, and it is listed as one of the second batch of national intangible cultural heritage in July, 2008. Based on the theory of ethnomusicology, composing and dialects, this article collects relative materials and does a exploratory study on the music of Xuzhou story-telling opera, hoping to enhance the singing tune of Xuzhou story-telling opera in a scientific and systematic way.This article has five parts except prelude and conclusion.The first chapter summarizes the characteristics of Xuzhou story-telling opera in different periods based on the evolution of the names of Xuzhou story-telling opera . it also studies the new tune name, important songs and singers in different periods. It also concludes that Xuzhou story-telling opera a history of 300 years based on the family tree of the Chai.The second chapter introduces the basic profile of Xuzhou story-telling opera from the aspects of genre, subject, performance style and different schools.The third chapter is devoted to the survival of Xuzhou story-telling opera and the relationship between Xuzhou story-telling opera and Han culture.The fourth chapter discusses the characteristics of the tune name music, language features and obbligato music of Xuzhou story-telling opera. This chapter also focuses on the two types of music system: lianquti and zhuquti, and uses a large number of examples to illustrate the relationship between tune names, the relationship betweenfolk songs and tune names, and the selection and evolution of original singing tunes in zhuquti.The fifth chapter studies the cultural connotation of Xuzhou story-telling opera, and analyzes its aesthetic and non-aesthetic features.The sixth chapter gives a systematic summary of the reform of Xuzhou story-telling opera in the new era puts forward the writer' s proposals.
