Secondly, through the analysis of Tibetan Buddhism's evolution in the Xinjiang and its influence, it should contribute to understanding the objective laws of religious phenomena, and seting up China's ethnic policy in the future. Finally, the study of Tibetan Buddhism on the impact of various ethnic groups in Xinjiang should play a a positive role on for the proper handling of ethnic relations and cross-ethnic relations. This paper is divided into three parts: the first part is a brief overview of the formation of Tibetan Buddhism and its characteristics, and the formation of the Gelug Sect ;The second part is discussion of the Gelug Sect of Tibetan Buddhism's introduction, the period of the development of Tibetan Buddhism and Tibetan Buddhism in Xinjiang constrained the development of the relevant factors; the third part is analysis of Tibetan Buddhism in Xinjiang's social and political, economic, and cultural implications.By analyzing the social impact of Tibetan Buddhism on Xinjiang, I believe that Tibetan Buddhism ,as an idealist view of the world, has both positive and negative side about the social development of Xinjiang. In building a harmonious society, we should be the Marxist concept of religion as a guide, and actively guide religions to adapt to socialist society, so as to China's realization of a well-off society to provide a good opportunity.
