The reason why Yuhua whose life is unromantic could obtain the large artistic achievement is related to his"foreign literature teacher",especially the one called Faulkner. He thought Faulkner is one of the few peple who teach others writing, and he is glad to think himself as that kind of writer. On the one hand, we can see that Yuhua is imitating and using Faulkner's narrative art. On the other hand, this is not a simple skill study question for Yuhua. Each kind of external influence has broken through the frame which the body uses, melts completely to his artistic thought and the inditement, and becomes to the writing driven by his heart. It becomes to his inalienable part. Based on the comparative literature theory, the thesis discusses that Yuhua accepts and varies Faulkner's narrative art by the method of parallel research and the influence research. The further finding forms the culture tradition, national character as well as the indited chance and idea course in their works.
