The emperor of Charles V (reigned from 1519 to 1556) was known of owning dozens of princely titles and the domination of huge empire. He was the most powerful monarch in Europe of 16th-century, and his empire was the result of the Political marriage.The marriage among the royalhousehold of Habsburg, the royalhousehold of Burgundy, the royal family of Castile and Aragon of Spain made the four powerful European countries under the title of Charles V. Owing to his family's strong political strength, Charlie also got the title of emperor of Holy Roman and became a well-deserved European hegemony.Charles V was busy with wars for hegemony in his life. In Italy, he repeatedly defeated his strongest opponents - French King Francis I; For the hegemony over the Mediterranean, he fiercely struggled with the Ottoman Empire Suleiman; However, in Germany, he had deeply sink into the war caused by religion, and thus, announced to abdicate eventually.Charles V and his European hegemonistic war had dramatic influence on the European history of 16 - 17 century.
