Study On Caiyuanpei's Philosophy Thought

Cai Yuanpei is a great thinker, educator and revolutionary.From his thoughts ,words and behaviors ,we can know his great mind , a philosopher's character and a great man's demeanor. He is knowledgeable with both Chinese and Western learning, and known as " an academic leader and a model of the world". His ideal of saving nation through education inspired the whole age .And his "Academic Thought Freedom and Coexistence of Different Schools of Thoughts" as a belief in the spirit of the people. He has been famous for his rising to the revolution and overthrowing Qing's absolute monarchy and attracted the world's attention as a principal charging of BeiJing University . He devoted his all life to the career of democracy and freedom . His thoughts are richful covering education, academic, cultural and other areas. People have gained a certain achievements in the research of political thought ,educational thought and acedemic thought. But, by contrast, the study on his philosophical thought seemed rather backward. I am impressed by his amiable capacity, straight forward personality and magnanimity of holding dissidents. With admiration and respect, I try to learn and study the philosophy of Cai Yuanpei. In the 140th anniversary of the birth of Cai Yuanpei, with this graduation thesis to show a younger student's cherish missing and mourning.
