Natural aesthetics is a unique aesthetic activity in ancient China which is based on the Chinese philosophy and culture. It rose in QIN, developed in HAN and matured in WEI JIN. The generation and development of natural aesthetic conscious have two facts: Firstly, because mankind's generation and living are involved in nature, mankind is intimate with nature naturally; Secondly, "nature" is an important object in ancient Chinese philosophy and literature. "Nature" has different characteristics in different period: In QIN, "nature" was a kind of transcendental notion to philosopher, and "beauty of nature" was viewed as an annex to Chinese sanctity; In HAN, "nature" was becoming objective; In WEI JIN, "nature" existed as a real aesthetic object finally.From the view of the evolution of "nature" and "natural aesthetics", HAN dynasty is the key historical period for forming natural aesthetic activity. Because in this period, "nature" showed its own characteristics, and changing of mankind's thoughts also provided a precondition for aesthetic activity. The purpose of this article is to research the natural aesthetic conscious of HUANG LAO thoughts in HAN and its impact on forming natural aesthetic activity in WEI JIN. The organization of this article is following: Firstly, the historical background, the origin and the position in ancient Chinese cultures of HUANG LAO thoughts will be discussed; Secondly, the natural notion and natural aesthetic conscious of HUANG LAO thoughts will be explored and its function as an intermediary in natural aesthetic activity will be argued; Thirdly, the natural aesthetic conscious of HUANG LAO will be explicated by instancing a concrete literary work - the rhyme prose and relief stone sculptures of the Han Dynasty, to reveal its uniqueness.
