As the cultural communion between China and foreign countries is becoming frequent, people knows that translation should be improved. In the intercultural communion, a series of cultural issues will be concerned by the translation studies, such as misreading, addition, loss, omission etc.. This course is a vivid reflection of the conflict, distortion and variance between different cultures, and it shows the misreading and misinterpretation to the foreign culture throughout the acception and transmition from it. It is better that to study Robinson Crusoe with a cultural perspective, and we can comprehend the transfer of the cultural images through the course of the translation. This paper consists of three parts, which are introduction, principal part and conclusion, and the principal has three parts. The introduction part simply introduces the range, the significance and the method to study the versions, and then briefly formulates the history and present condition of the research. This paper has discussed some Chinese translated versions of Robinson Crusoe, by means of Medio-Translatology. It cares about the transfer of cultural images in the literature translation, and makes us know, in the native cultural context, that the cultural images of heterogeneity will be distorted. Therefore, both the translators and the reasearch members should revert them in the other cultural context. The principal part consists three major contents. Firstly, it simply introduces and defines about the culture, image, cultural images, etc.. According to Xie Tianzhen's views, this paper has pointed out a term, cultural images, to generalize the cultural phenomena with the characteristic of images, and discusses the transfer of cultural images in the literature translation. Secondly, it compares and discusses the Chinese translated versions of Robinson Crusoe. In China, the first version of Robinson Crusoe is Jue Dao Piao Liu Ji, translated by Shen Zufen. From then on, over forty versions have been published. As the names of the versions are different, which not only makes it difficult to search, affects the criterion of the academia and the transfer of the cultural images. This paper makes sure that the version's name is Lu Binsun Piaoliuji, because each of"Lu Binsun"and"piaoliu"has its special cultural images. Finally, it discusses the transfer of the cultural images from the versions of Robinson Crusoe. Different folks have different cultural characters, and this is the cultural diversity. Cultural diversity makes it difficult to intercommunicate between different cultures, because there is a conflict between different people's cultural self-identities. In the different living conditions and cultural traditions, there are different special cultural images. Literature translation concerns every aspect about the society, contains lots of cultural images, so the translators should be accomplished in the cultural diversity of China and foreign countries, realize the background, such as history, habit of thinking, religious culture, etc.. In a word, only be should paied attention to the images with rich cultural connotations, he can reproduce the culture from the source language and transfer the cultural diversity as more as possible. However, each of us can only research other culture with his own eyesight, the cultural images of heterogeneity will be distorted in other cultural context, the transfer of cultural images is in the hot water. From the angle of Medio-Translatology, throughout the compare and analysis of the cultural images of Robinson Crusoe, this paper makes a conclusion: the cultural diversity induces the jam of the cultural images in the translation, the loss or the addition of the cultural images is hard to be avoided, the translators and the reasearch members should revert them in the other cultural context. At the same time, a translator should think much of the transfer of the cultural images, convey the cultural informations as more as possible, it is very important for the linguistic development, transmission and intercommunion.
