Recently,under the big picture of "Overseas Promotion" in Chinese literature,the communication between Chinese and Korean literature and academic have also deepened.In the meantime,even more Korean readers are no longer satisfied with the superficial understanding of China,but eager to learn more from the real image of life.With the in-depth exploration of Korean readers,some unique Chinese writers and their works have been discovered.Yan Lianke,as the winner of the Franz Kafka Prize and was nominated by many international literary awards many times including the Booker,is one of them.Due to most of Yan Lianke’s works are the reflections of ordinary people in China,many Chinese and overseas readers and critics favors his works.Thus,his works have also been translated into more than 20 languages including English,Japanese,Korean,French,German,Italian,and Spanish,and published in more than20 countries and regions."The Explosion Chronicles",masterpiece of Yan Lianke,with unique style and novel subject,within this excellent work,there are many cultural images with Chinese characteristics.The Korean translation has successfully published in 2020.In view of this,the author believes that how the Korean translators of the book dealing with the characteristic cultural of the original works,and that the translation and dissemination of this work in South Korea will make a positive significance for "Overseas Promotion" of Chinese literature.Medio-translatology in comparative literature refers to the study of translation in literary communication,which mostly studies literary translation and translated literature from the perspective of comparative culture.Recently,while Yan Lianke has been judged to be the next Nobel Prize winner in China,the translation and introduction of Yan Lianke’s works around the world has also become hot,and it is very important to study the translation and dissemination of Yan Lianke and his works in South Korea.Secondly,from the perspective of Reception Aesthetics,readers are the driven of literary creation,and the acceptance of literary are not only restricted by the nature of the work,but also by readers.The creative treason of literary works in translation is also aimed to satisfy the reader’s expectations and maximize the original cultural image during the translation process.While studying the Korean translation of Yan Lianke’s works,it is also very urgent to analyze the feasibility and inevitability of the translation of Chinese literary works to Korea,and to explore the horizons of expectations of Korean readers.This article intends to analyze the Korean version of Yan Lianke’s representative work "The Explosion Chronicles((?))" from the perspective of Medio-translatology,and to explore the creative treason of the translators’ translation process.Meanwhile,it uses the theory of Reception Aesthetics to analyze reasons for creative treason and whether the translation meets the expectations of Korean readers in Korean version.The full article is divided into five chapters for discussion.Chapter 1 is the introduction,which mainly clarifies the purpose and significance of the research,reviews research status,and defines the scope and methods of the research.Chapter 2 discusses the background of Yan Lianke’s works’ translation and introduction in Korea,analyzes the feasibility and inevitability,and introduces the relevant translators.Chapters 3 and 4 are the core parts of this article.Chapter 3 combines the relevant theories of Medio-translatology and Reception Aesthetics,relying on examples and induction to analyze the translator’s understanding of the work from the perspective of comparative culture and literary translation,and finally summarizing the translators’ active role and the impact on the target reader.Chapter 4 analyzes the dissemination effect and acceptance of the Korean version in South Korea from the perspective of Korean readers’ expectations and academic acceptance of the work,and concludes that how "The Second Life" come from after transplanting the original work to another language environment.Chapter 5,the conclusion part which summarizes the main research content and puts forward deficiencies that are not covered by the author’s ability.
