The Research On The Activity Of The China Inland Mission In The Modern Northwest Muslim Society

China Inland Mission(CIM)is the largest Christianity organization in China .It's main aim is to mission in inland of china, to open the historical door of Chinese inland missionary, and it's missionary method is called"Hudson's way". Since the second Opium War, the imperialist powers once again bombarded by warships Lee opened the door to the Qing government, A large number of Western Christian missionary institutions seized the opportunity that Qing government lift the ban on missionary in Chinese land ,they came to inland of China. Many missionaries included some missionaries of China inland mission came in northwest region of china and met Muslim. Their tasks were that let Muslim could hear God's voice and they could convert to Christianity. In order to finish their task, they spent very long time even their life. Before the liberation the missionary work of Protestant was mainly charged by China Inland Mission, and this organization's centers was located in LanZhou city. In GanSu, QingHai, NingXia, XinJiang region there were some small parts. The missionaries who distributed in GanSu, QingHai, NingXia, XinJiang region were not many, but they done a hard and long missionary work by organization or not, they experienced many difficulties, and at different times of the Muslim community also gave rise to different reactions.The paper includes the following parts:Part1, The introduction, it analyses and studies the literatures about the missionary activities of Christianity especially China Inland Mission in northwestern region, which include our country's and abroad country's.Part2, it introduces China Inland Mission and its background.Part3, it is the important part . it describes the missionary condition of China Inland Mission in northwest Muslim society, and it points out its typical role and important meaning. It also primarily describes the specific missionary activity.Part4, it analyses comprehensively and systematically the missionary effect of China Inland Mission some exemplary activities. First it analyses the successful contact between missionaries and Muslim, and it analyses the better aspect that they all constructed. Then the author concludes that the missionary result of China Inland Mission we cannot simply see that their contacts and dialogue was the "success" or not, we should view it from double aspects, which is the primary premise of understanding the missionary historical results. Meanwhile, it explores the inner root of the failure of missionary work, which includes the society, the politic, the history, the religion and so on, systematically, then it point out the failure history is objective and inevitable.Part5, the paper concludes that the historical influence of missionary in this period both have positive aspect and negative aspect; in the same time the author gets some enlightenment about the religious dialogue and work.Conclusion, the historical consideration of the history.
