Poetics are very prosperous in the Song Dynasty. Yan Yu's Cang Lang Shi Hua is the best one of the Song poetics and becomes the standard of Chinese classical poetic. At the basis of previous studies of Cang Lang Shi Hua, this thesis discusses Yan Yu's poetic by focusing on the contribution and influence to Chinese ancient poetry.The main part of thesis takes the three concepts of expression of emotion, Miao Wu and Xing Qu as the focus of discussion. In this thesis, these three concepts can be seen as the core of Yan Yu's Cang Lang Shi Hua. They constitute Yan Yu's poetic and analyze poetry from the following three aspects: rooted in emotion, thinking characteristic of poetry and the mood.The first chapter reveals Yan Yu's demand, on the concept of expression of emotion, that returning to the lyric poetry in Cang Lang Shi Hua. Yan Yu's poetic inherits the tradition of Six Dynasties which insists poetry comes from emotion, and it is also closely related with Zhong Rong's poetic that poetry expresses emotion and does not invoke the examples for many valuable. The reason why Yan Yu reiterating poetry must express emotion is the modern poets are writing in order to show off their characters, scholarship and comment. Yan Yu is in fact stressing that poetry is an independent style. Only those poems that express emotion can be called Ben Se and Dang Hang. Based on this, this thesis makes a specific analysis of Yan Yu's poetic from the discourse level, image level and the implication level.The second chapter starts from the study of the relationship between Zen and Mao Wu. In this thesis, Miao Wu is considered to analyse the characteristics of thinking in images. It makes the study ranged from the level of form to the level of psychology, the scope of the study from the past, only in the works, extended to the author, so as to derive a more profound conclusion that poetry and poetry writing are different from other literature styles.The third chapter is on the concept of Xing Qu and its relationship with realm. It provides a more intuitive perspective for the study of Yan Yu's poetic by combining Cang Lang Shi Hua with his own poetry. As can be seen from the strong admiration to Li Bai and Du Fu in the arts, Yan Yu calls for the national spirit embodied in Tang poetry.In conclusion, Cang Lang Shi Hua reveals from the aesthetic point that poetry is different from other literature styles, artistic against instrumental, affective against intellectual. Cang Lang Shi Hua is an excellent poetic work. It has pointed out to us what kind of poetry is really excellent at art form, and established the immortal status for Tang poetry in the history of Chinese poetry.
