Ou-yang Hsiu was a well-known thinker,writer and politician during the Northern Song Dynasty, but he also had made great achievements in the school of text, especially in Yi-ology. He was critical to inherit Wang Bi's interpreting method of Yi-ology. on that basis, He formed his own style and characteristics of Yi-ology. Ou-yang Hsiu's feature was that he could do something that the ancestors not dare to . He firstly created to distinguish the Confucian classical works, and the first man to propose xici and other commentaries were not written by Confucius in Yi-ology history. These views were systematically discussed through the repetitive of the character and the inconsistent of the content and other aspects. He pointed out clearly that his aim was to tell the pesronnel not tiandao, the view was very different from the xiangshu school. So we can say Ou-yang Hsiu's thought of Yi-ology belonged to yili school. His idea about Yi-ology not only had a major significance in his era, but also had an important role and influence to study the Yi-ology of the afterworld even the modern research.
