Sergei Gennadievich Nechaev is a revolutionary who must be mentioned in the Russian radicalism movement in the nineteenth century. It is so said not only because he wrote the famous"Catechism of a Revolutionary", and cruelly killed Ivan Ivanovich Ivanov, who was a member of The People's Justice which he had established. But also because Karl Marx called the future society which Nechaev imagined as"Barracks Communism". Nechaev posed a series of realistic important questions including the organization, morality, tactics and goal of the revolution out of his own actions. Nechaev proclaimed that the interest of revolution is the highest, and that all means can be used to achieve the success of it. Conspiracy is what Nechaev concerned mostly, and he wanted to built a powerful revolutionary organization to lead the revolution until it succeed. Nechaev was a extreme and fanatic revolutionary. His actions and thoughts astonished his contemporaries, and deeply affected the descendants.
