Since the late 19th century, the print advertising design has become an independent discipline, and has played a more and more important role in the economic domain and in our daily life. The author borrows the artistic conception from Chinese traditional culture, takes the "graph creativity" in the print advertising design as a breakthrough point, and introduces an innovative concept of "visualization", to explore new ideas and to achieve better functionality of print ads.This paper first analyzes the concepts, the forms, the advantages and the prospects of print advertising design and points out that print ads is a combination of theme and information and through a simple artistic way to approach the public by the mass media to enhance the mindset of people, and ultimately to change people's behaviors and perceptions. Print advertising is different from other forms of art, as it is both functional and artistic, with its art form serves its function. In order to better achieve the functionality of print ads, the author introduces the concept of "visualization", so as to strengthen the function of print ads and its artistic characteristics. Second, the author explores from the perspective of practice and theory about the creation of artistic visualization of print advertising design and its theoretical basis. Graphic creativity needs to have many foundations, including psychology, culture, esthetics and so on, to achieve comprehensive and objective effect, artistic visualization is for the purpose of better dissemination of print ads features. The realization of artistic visualization from both emotional and rational dimensions creates a deep and rich artistic flavor to its design, image and color in the print advertising design. Finally, this paper provides in-depth thinking on the exploration of artistic visualization in print advertising design.Through the study of the innovative ideas for print adverting design, it will certainly have great significance in improving the design level, perfecting design concepts and reaching the full potential of the functionality of the print advertising design.
