Vincenzo Bellini is an important opera composer in the Italian Romantic period of the nineteenth century. His unique creative drama technique to shape the melody is based on the figures and has greatly promoted the development of vocal skills. The beautiful melodies of La Sonnambula (1831) is Bellini's sincere representative of the mature style, but also a village style with a rich pastoral flavor of "semi-regular opera". In this paper, the author studies the image-shaping of the Amina in Bellini's La Sonnambula by grasping the main character of the script and music style. At the same time, the creative process, artistic features, content of lyrics, composition techniques should be considered through comprehensive and deep analysis in order to interpret the works more accurately and achieve closer to the composer's intention on creating the image.This paper discusses the following three aspects: First, from the creative process of the La Sonnambula and artistic point of view of the characteristics of the whole opera's macro grasping; second, description from the script and music to draw a multi-faceted of the image Amina; third, the analysis of two main arias of Amina to a deeper grasp of the detail and image.
