HanYu had established the three immortalities of confucianism,that is to say,he would realized immortality of virtue, immortality of merit and immortality of view,as his concept of life values in his early years.Having no other channels entering hureaucracy at the beginning,Han Yu had no choice but to be employed by Dongjin shogunate and Zhangjianfen shogunate,in order to seek a better way out.Later,he twice completed his misson perfectly for his masters.So,experience of working for shogunates became an important segment in HanYu's life.Setting shogunates as its backgroud,the essay gives a comprehensive inspection of HanYu's life there,from his living condition and mental changes to his corresponding thought and creation through analysing his works of that period.Working for shogunates,HanYu served as the lowest post,but he learned a lot indispensible common sense and tacts to be a politician. At a time,when marquises had seperated the empire with their domains and when buddhish and Taoism were more popular than confucianism,he also earnestly thought of statecraft saving the country.At the same time,he acquainted with a group of like-minded friends with whom he exchanged the ideas about poetry and Confucian classics to find a solution to crisis of medium Tang dynasty.That period of HanYu's life was quite critial for him to develop his ideas.His ideas about philosophy,politics,education and literature generated and took shape.His masterpiece,The Five Originals,written at this period established Confucian orthodoxy and contributed to the development of doctrine of principle in Song and Ming dynasty.In addition,that period gave birth to his ideas of literary and some of them had been put forward definitely.He substantially completed exploration, practice and research of various literary types,which made his writing reach a high artistic standards,and he formed his own unique style preliminarily.With such a unique style,a number of HanYu's academic monographs and excellent literary works left us with a valuable spiritual wealth. From the view of three immortalities of confucianism,HanYu in that period have done a good work on virtue,merit and view,which have got a far-reaching effect.
