Du Mu was a famous poet in the middle and late Tang Dynasty,his poems and writings had deep attainments in the field. With the development of the life, his poetry gradually formed its own style.Du Mu was well-known as the" Later Li Du " with Li Shangyin. To analyse Du Mu’s poems, writings was meaningful to our study on Du Mu and the characteristics of the times that he lived.Shogunate system evolution has become mature in Tang Dynasty, literatus into the shogunate became a kind of fashion. With the internal and external reasons,Du Mu entered the shogunate,experienced Shen Chuanshi, Niu Sengru, Cui Dan such masters, and once stayed in Hong Zhou, Xuan zhou, Yang zhou such places.The introduction part of this article is to start from several time periods, to introduce academic research and the research on Du Mu and its poetry, the research methods, the research perspective, as well as the existence of missing briefly, and thus leads to the footing of this article, innovations and research perspectives, research methods.Firstly, this article uses Shogunate as a perspective, examines Du Mu’s poems, writings in the shogunate period, to analyse the diversity of the ideological contents and the richness of the artistic characteristics in the poems and writings.Then to have a thorough knowledge of Du Mu’s related works that previous and behind when he into the shogunate, grasp the development and maturation roles of the shogunate period’s creation played in his lifetime creations.The next, view the shogunate period’s poems and writings as the entry point, summarize the journey of the heart of Du Mu during the shogunate life, explore the associated contradictory complexs in his inner world.
