"shi shuo xin yu" is the novel to record the interesting person wrote by LiuYi Qing at LinChuan at the period of the Southern Dynasties.This book recorded many famous persons and interesting stories. The words and grammar are similar to the spoken Chinese and can embodied the characteristics of the middle ancient Chinese language.at that time, the Chinese is at the Middle Age of Chinese history. During the period of the middle ancient times transiting to modern Chinese, Middle age Chinese possesses a significant position in the history of Chinese language, which links between the preceding and the following. There are no specialized books for the study on the Kinsfolk Appellation Words in "Shi Shuo Xin Yu" yet, I would like to let this paper can give a help to the study of Kinsfolk Appellation Words.This thesis consists of altogether four parts:The first chapter:Giving brief introduction to the research goal and significance, the range of study and the content, research technique and the language materials sources and this thesis research history and present situation of this paper. And making a survey of Kinsfolk Appellation scopes and categories let this paper purpose clearly.The second chapter:Basing on kinsfolk appellation partition indicated the family ties, the relatives appeared in "Shi Shuo Xin Yu" can be divided into six categories:ancestry, parents siblings,husband and wife,son or daughter and grandchild generation. After that, make a concrete analysis of these kinsfolk appellation wordsThe third chapter:make a conclusion and summary to the main changes of the grammar and structure of the kinsfolk appellation words during the period of Wei-Jin and the Southern and Northern DynastiesThe fourth chapter:Make an analysis of connotation and the stream of the kinsfolk appellation words in the "Shi Shuo Xin Yu".At the last it sum up the main issues and the shortcomings of the front.The article put the emphasis on the discussion of the use of kinsfolk in "shi shuo xin yu".I choose some kinsfolks in "shi shuo xin yu" to compare from the past and now to see thecharacteristics of them on usage and the change of meaning and use of them.
