The Research Of Appellation Words In San Guo Yan Yi

The appellation words in Chinese are highly rich and colorful, and many researches have been done. But the study of the appellation words related to a specific book is still very short. The thesis tries to research the appellation words in San Guo Yan Yi to unveil the using characteristics of those words in the novel.The main body divides into four chapters.In the first chapter, the author glances at the history and the existing condition about the appellation words in Chinese and summarizes the definition of appellation words.In the second chapter, the author makes an exhaustive analysis on universal appellation words in society, especially the appellation words which show respect in dialogues. On the basis of these discussions, I find some rules about the appellation words' development.In the third chapter, the author makes an exhaustive analysis on the appellation words used between relatives. Based on the synonyms of appellation words used between relatives in San Guo Yan Yi, the author tries to find the using characteristics of those words in the novel.In the forth chapter, the author analyzes the factors which effect the usage of appellation words in San Guo Yan Yi.
