Ibn Taymiyyah and Wahhab are well-known innovators and practitioners of religion revival movement in islamic history. Although they separated each other more than four centuries, but at a similar time they had advocated—return to Qur`an and Hadith and purified Islam , and practised, and actively advocated. This periodic return movement demonstrates for us, when Islam is in the situation of hardship home and abroad, the religious thinkers courageously shouldered time task and positively introspected internal problems, advocated the return to traditional ideas, aimed at revitalization of the declining time. Of course, we take an objective analysis of the attitude of religious thinkers opinions, in other words at a critical moment or in changing times, faced unfamiliar cultures, they should be keep an open posture to take in other cultures. And Ibn Taymiyyah and Wahhab resisted foreign cultures extremely, and criticied other Islamic thoughts which played a driven role in history, that is not correct, what is the essence of this periodic phenomenon ? This article initially attempts to analyse this phenomenon at the limited information. This article will compare Ibn Taymiyyah with Wahhab in their religious thoughts ,as an example, trying to analyse this historical phenomenon, from the development of the internal logic of Islam. This article is divided into six parts. The first part is the introduction, mainly about Ibn Taymiyyah and Wahhab's life and brief introduction, research synthesis and summary and raised questions. The second part is divided into five chapters. The first chapter is a historical analysis of theory. From a comparative analysis of three subsections about the historical background of Ibn Taymiyyah and Wahhab,to reproduce the characteristics of the times of two religious thinkers for us. The second chapter is on the relationship between the humane being and God. That is, to analyse their thoughts comparatively from the perspective of the monotheism ,In fact it tells us the most fundamental creed of Islam, which is aimed at preserving the creed of relationship between the humane being and God——the divine master and slave. Chapter III is a critique of Sufism. The logic clue is about the dispute between monotheism and pantheism, polytheism and idol worship. Chapter IV is about the dispute of divine revelation and rationality. The essence is the contradiction of divinity and humanity, the tradition and the innovation. Chapter V is the summary of analysis. In fact the essential meaning of the relationship between the humane being and God, critical of Sufism, the dispute of divine revelation and rationality, represents the inherent logical laws of Islamic Revival Movement for us. The internal meaning of these different aspects has always revolved around a pair of problems, that is the contradictions of the shackles of God and humanity's liberation. The third part is the conclusion. Islam as an independent cultural system, has its own logical laws, the thoughts of Ibn Taymiyyah and Wahhab has always revolved around these logical clues. Of course, facing changing times, the extreme criticism of foreign cultures, and stick to the national culture is clearly inappropriate. History tells us that the development of any humane culture depends on adhering to its own culture and taking in others.
