Chen Que is a great thinker, philosopher and famous educationist in 17th century. Huang Zongxi, Zhang Lüxiang and he are disciples of the profound scholar Liu Zongzhou, and they were called Three outstanding scholars of Ji Shan School . His theoretical work is rich and with unique characteristics, which had reflected the great change of the late Ming and early Qing Dynasty. Therefore his ideas are held high and of great influence. The main aim of this study is to explore, analyze ,and interpret the psychological thought of Chen Que. The outcome of the study may be used for reference and enlightenment. In t he meanwhile, this study will fill a gap of the study of Chinese psychological history.The primary contents of this paper concludes six parts:Part one :the basic psychological viewpoints of Chen.There are two points in this part,"relationship between the Body and mind, physical and psychological","the relationship between the Psychology and objective reality".Part two: Perception and thinking thought.There are five essentials:"Perception","thinking","the relationship of Perception and thinking","Understanding of the unity of finite and infinite","The relationship between knowing and doing".Part three: Emotion and Desire thought. The emphasis of this part is:"the emotion thought"including"Angry","Selfish","Sad","Respect";"the desire thought"including"The unity of heaven justice and the human desire","The rationality of desire","The positive role of desire","the negative effect of eliminating desire","the characteristics of Chen'idea".Part four: Motivation and will thought.There are t here points。First is"The study needs to establish the goal", second is"the importance of goal", third is"The timely identification of target".Part five: intelligence- ability thought。There are three points: Intuitive knowledge and innate ability,The upper and lower limits of intelligence,the change and development of Intelligence.Part six: nature and nurture thought. Which is including"the summary of nature and nurture thought","Natural monism","nature and nurture","the Defect of Chen's thought".
