As a famous master in Chinese philosophy, Qian Mu was also excellent in study of history and literature. He spent all his life in education. He founded the New Asia College in Hong Kong and summarized the experience of running the college.In Heritage of New Asia which collects Qian Mu's speeches, we can find his idea of moral education, such as the relationship between Chinese traditional culture and education, life is more important than science, all-rounder is better than professional. The paper is based on the analysis of Qian Mu's educational practice in New Asia College, highlights the educational concept and spirit of Qian Mu and sums up his ideal talents and training methods. Qian Mu's core concept of education included: the ways to understand and carry forward traditional Chinese culture, the destination of foster student moral ideal and spirit of life, the goal of create Chinese people who has sound character and national spirit. As to college education, he advocated people-centered. He paid attention to students'personality and create a good college tradition and spirit. He opposed the learning purpose of quick profit and advised students to establish the ideal and pursue a career. He also believed that teachers should not only impart knowledge, but also be concerned about their students. Teachers should influence on students with their moral personality.Qian Mu's education theory is not only a strong humanism, but also attached great importance to the complementarity of eastern and western cultures. These ideas have the role of inspiration and reference to carry out today's moral education and foster ideal talented people with perfect personality.
