The Study On Variant Forms Of Chinese Characters In Epitaphs Of Empress Wu And Wu-Zhou Dynasties

Research of the variant form, a character study of an important aspect of ontology is to study the evolution of Chinese characters as a starting point the law, while the consolidation and standardization of Chinese characters work can play a certain role, has important practical significance. Epitaph of the Tang Dynasty, is coinstantaneous information of Tang Dynasty.Their literature authenticity is strong, abundant, almost every party has a variant on Epitaph,which well reflected variant forms of the basic features of the period,, with the incomparable research value.The quantity of epitaph of the Tang Dynasty is huge, in view of the time and other reasons, the scope of this thesis will be reduced to "Epitaph compilation of the Tang Dynasty" embodied the epitaphs of the Empress Wu and Wu-Zhou dynasties. Selecting Empress Wu and Wu-Zhou Dynasty epitaphs variant as the research object of this paper, having an investigation for the variant of epitaph in this period, to reveal the particular character in the history of its development level, there have been a variant relationship information, it will allow us to promote the development and evolution of knowledge of the variant forms gradually, providing the basis for enriching and perfecting the system of the development of Chinese characters.Besiding "Introduction",this thesis consists of six chapters:"Introduction" section, the main topics on the significance of the thesis, research materials, research ideas and methods; the first chapter, "variant of the definition and related discussion" focused on a variant of the definition of problems and their reaserch status; the second chapter, "Explanations of Variants", select typical analysis of 112 variants argument; the third chapter, the knowledge of using component analysis of the variants in this period of the type and characteristics of research and analysis; the fourth chapter makes a discussion to the relationship between variant forms of the words; the fifth chapter discriminates the circumstances of distinguishing falsely from epitaphs of variant analysis of Empress Wu and Wu-Zhou dynasties.
