Since Xiehe applied "Qi" to the Chinese Painting and the Aesthetic of them at the Southern Qi in the "GU HUA PIN LU" for the first time. Thus, "Qi" has become Chinese painting and the core content of ontology. Of "Qi Yun Sheng Dong" this idea of painting art, Painting theorists of Song Dynasty based on the thought of our predecessors and inheritance, further enrich and improve it. Put forward a number of important "Qi" theories of paintings,such as, "Qi Yun Fei Shi", "Yong Bi San Bing", "Liu Chang"and so on. It has an import menaing for generations of painting theory. This article from the explaination of "Qi"in the painting theories of Song Dynasty, and the performance of "Qi" in the paintings of Song Dynasty, research and analysis the development of "Qi" theory and the impaction to generations of this theory in Song. With a view to contribute to the deepening of the Song Dynasty painting, painting theory, and the spirit of Chinese painting studies.
