In Search Of The Controversy Between "Intellectual Writing" And "Unofficial Writing" In 90's Parnassus

The controversy with poetry between "intellectual writing" and "unofficial writing" was outbreak in 1999.It is considered as the biggest controversy which want to decide how to develop poetry.The views of two sides and the attitude about this quarrel are a part of poetry criticism and it can reflect the poetry's new tendency. This paper tries to hold this controversy systematically and analyze 90s'poerty criticism. It has five chapters.The first chapter intent to analyze the social and cultural background of this quarrel:the society transformation between 1980s-1990s, the way of writing style's development and the name of poetry's paradigm, they are led to the outbreak of controversy eventually. The second part wants to point out the focus of the two sides which were the main difference:the position, the resource and the orientation in writing. The third part focus on revealing the same view in two sides which was closed by quarrel, for instance, they are all vigilance the ideological writing, oppose pure poetry writing and comprehend the diversified ways to handle these heterogeneous materials.The forth part to analyze some views about this quarrel, and point out that the concept of "intellectual writing" is invalid, the concept of "folk writing" is nothingness, and so they cannot conform the real conflict. The fifth chapter focuses on analyzing the defect, achievement and the character of 90s'poetry criticism. In 90s last century poetry criticism has showed self-contained, integrated and open form.
