"Manluo Flower": Multiple Changes Of A Legendary

"Marduo Flower"is a legendary story in folk Miao Ethnic Group. It was collected,sorted out,and recomposed into various art manifestations,such as folk story,Beijing Opera,pantomime and movies, etc.Initiated from civilian oral telling and singing,it has been broadcasted nationwide and become a well-known movie story.In 1963, the movie Manluo Flower won 2 international prize and became the solely movie which won prize abroad,which exerted a new trend of discualling Manluo.This article shall mainly study the transform process of Manluo Flower from folk legend into movie,and the transform process of folklore of ethnic groups into mainstream popular literature,and the reason for its well acceptance.At the same time,the author also illustrate and explain a series of phenomenon and questions emerged in transform process,so as to reconsider the complex relationship between theory and practice of folklores of ethnic groups and mainstream(official) popular literature, intellectual literature,ethnic group's culture and popular media,etc in 1950s and 1960s.
