| Qing is the last feudal Dynasty of China, and its destruction especially the dramatic changes after the Opium War in China had been affect modern times. Many scholars have been study Qing Dynasty from history or the attitude towards external. But the monograph and paper, which direct, concentrated reflect this history and changes are rare at home and abroad research. This article studying the Qing foreign relations terms from the viewpoint of linguistics.This thesis has three chapters. The chapterâ… &â…¡describe the terms of early and late Qing Dynasty respectively. From the conclusions can be seen early Qing is the "megalomania" period, and late Qing is the "transition" period. The chapterâ…¢compare foreign relations terms of early and late Qing. There is an increasing number of terms at late Qing Dynasty, particularly the number of equal words is increasing and the proportion is expand. The reasons:extending the use of old equal terms, using the new word. Besides, it has great changes in late Qing at the curiosity in the outside world and the views in external trade.According to the analyzed, this thesis reflect attitude changes of the Qing rulers and people with insight to the Western, also shows the enormous social changes after Opium War. |
