This thesis used meta-analysis to re-analyze 25 primary researches on the relationship between burnout and mental health in China, controlled the public bias and the quality of researches, and explored the moderators of the meta-analysis. The result of this meta-analysis shows that:(1) The relationship between burnout and mental health is significant, the comprehensive r equals 0.359, and the 95% confidence interval of r is 0.265 to 0.446.(2) The relationship between emotional exhaustion and mental health is significant, the comprehensive r equals 0.362, and the 95% confidence interval of r is 0.307 to 0.414. The relationship between depersonalization and mental health is significant, the comprehensive r equals 0.362, and the 95% confidence interval of r is 0.292 to 0.428. The relationship between low personal accomplishment and mental health is significant, the comprehensive r equals 0.127, and the 95% confidence interval of r is 0.010 to 0.241.(3) The relationship between year of publication and effect size is not significant.(4) Occupation has a significant effect to the relationship between burnout and mental health, the relationship between emotional exhaustion and mental health, the relationship between depersonalization and mental health.The work environment of teachers has a significant effect to the relationship between emotional exhaustion and mental health.
