Reflection On Cultivation Of Art Design Talent With Creative Industries Background

In pace with the rapid growth of economics, culture, science and arts, the cultural creative industries have become a new pillar of social development of China today, hence an enormous demand of talent in this very field. The fact that art design serves as a major component of cultural creative industries has made its talent a crucial factor for the development of the industries.The demand of and qualifications for such talent are presented in view of the development and recognition of intension of creative industries, and their intrinsic difference from traditional industries. However, the challenges brought to art design education and its current state have revealed a number of problems to be solved in terms of orientation of education objectives, optimization of curriculum systems and course contents, design and innovation for education methods, execution of practice processes,hybrid-skillful faculty training, and mechanism of flexible education management, etc. Therefore innovative speculations on talent cultivation of creative design are proposed as to provide socially-required advanced applied personnel to serve for the transition and upgrading of creative industries.
