The Creation Of Ceramics In Han Dynasty And Modern China

The development of Chinese modern ceramics originated from the late 1970s and early 1980s.This article first briefly described the developmental history and the artistic characteristics of Chinese traditional ceramics. And then, under the background of the influence by trend of thought of western art and Chinese traditional pottery art, to describe the development venation of modern ceramics from the very beginning. With the observation of the ceramics art of Han dynasty, this article has selected some typical works and by appreciation of modern ceramics creation individual cases to focused on the analysis of the profound reflection, awakening and returning of the contemporary ceramics sculpture under the different Chinese and western cultural background and pondered upon the significance of the return of the national consciousness to the creation of modern pottery.
