Ba-sentense as a Chinese unique patterns has been the focus of grammar study, but the present research on its negation is relatively weak. This paper adopts the description method, and chooses the commonly used three negative words "bu" "mei" and "bie" as the research objects. Five parts that compose the thesis are as follows:The first chapter mainly discusses the overview of ba-sentence and the negative words, and define the research scope as the selection of declarative ba-sentence, imperative ba-sentence and interrogative ba-sentence on negative words "bu""mei" and "bie".The second chapter divides declarative ba-sentence into seven kinds to analys the selection of "mei"and "bu". This chapter is the main part of the thesis. We found out most of these sentences can be used to negate with "mei", VP must be restricted with "bu". Due to the verb-complement ba-sentence take account more than eighty percent, so this paper show emphasis on the selection of verb-complement type and its causes of that. The third part mainly analyses the selection of imperative ba-sentence on "bie" as the main negative form of imperative sentence, can be used to negate every ba-sentence except the V-guo ba-sentence, the reduplicated verbs ba-sentence.The grammatical meaning of "bie" is only"prohibit", however "bie+V+le" is an ambiguous phrasing, therefore ba-sentence becomes ambiguous sentence when "le" appeared in the sentence. The fourth part mainly analyses the selection of imperative ba-sentence on "mei" and "bu", it concludes yes-no questions, specific questions and A-not-A questions. Among the three types of sentences, the A-not-A questions give less limit to the nagative words. It has six forms and changes because of the difference of VP.The fifth part summarizes all of the parts. Ba-sentence gives less limit to "mei" than "bu", and contains four types of post-negation clause. The selection of ba-sentence on nagative words provides reference for distinguishing "mei" and "bu", and points out the difference between them is the discrimination of subjectivity and objectivity. At the same time, the different types of negative serve as basis for the classification of different patterns.
