Mou Tsung-san'philosophy is an important example in the modern Chinese history,and it is also an important frame of reference on exploring the development of Chinese philosophy and culture. His philosophy of history is to introspect the history and culture of China in philosophy ,and express the modern Neo-Confucian's thought of"Saints and New Outside"Mou's philosophy of history is mainly reflected in the'Philosophy of History'(published in 1955, Johnson Publishing),'moral idealism'(Tokai University Press 1959) and'Politics Road and Governance Road'(1961, published in the Taipei Bureau of wide instrument) three books .Mou from the comparison between" the spirit of comprehensive " and " the spirit of decomposition " shows that the Chinese culture characteristics is " the spirit of decomposition ". Mou think that the Chinese culture as a unique cultural life, its roots of ideology is different from the western culture, The former is rooted in life,but the latter'root is nature. He believes that China's cultural is belong to"Li Yue-type" cultural system, which is distinguished with the West "Religious type" cultural system. The spirit of comprehensive is standing on the moral ontology,reunion the inner"Mind"and the outer system of ethics in the"Li". Because they are issued from a moral ontology, Mind and the system of ethics is one of the sides, Mind'practice is just in the ethical system and implementing ethical system is the completion of Mind, Thus, the overall integration has become an up and down process, there is no division and confrontation.From the "rational use of performance" and "rational framework performance" comparison,Mou also shows the Chinese culture as the "rational use of performance" characteristics. " The spirit of comprehensive " as a spiritual core, it must be manifested through a certain way, that is "the rational use of performance". Correspondingly, the spirit of Western culture embodied in "the framework of a rational expression."Chinese culture in the modern face the problem is that how to release" the spirit of decomposition " from " The spirit of comprehensive ", and how to steer the"rational use of performance"to the"rational framework for performance"? Mou proposed a theoretical framework "conscience of the self-collapsed" and use it to solve China culture's modernization. Their performance in the ontology is "One Mind and Two Gates", which means the ontology and the phenomena, and in the historical and cultural aspects of the performance of the Confucian way is to open science and democracy.The third phase of Confucianism'responsibility is to open the required"wai wang"of a new era.From the "integrated innovation" point of view, Mou's cultural outlook is still limited to the context of "Zhong Ti Xi Yong" which separates the unity of"Ti Yong". This paper argues that the issue of dealing with Chinese and Western culture, should adhere to the sense of "beyond" , and construct their own national culture in the principle of cultural subjectivity."In the human field of vision, beyond ethnic and national interests,we can build a new culturewhich takes the human interest as the carrier."...
